The idle temperature is 25C, which is good, and the maximum load temperature (tested with prime 95 and aida64) are 82C which is kind of high for a CPU which hasn't been overclocked ...My 5700G idles at around 40 °C and the hottest I've seen it go is 72 °C while playing. I feel that the idle temps could be a lot lower. What's the ideal point for that? I use it with it's stock cooler on a Gigabyte B550M-H. It's in an old case with two "little" fans (front and back, I think they're 92mm). They will boost up higher and higher until it bumps into the power, thermal, or frequency limits. Your 5700G has a PPT of 88W, a max boost clock of 4.6 (I think?), and a thermal limit of probably 90 or 95C. I'm getting around 38 C with NH-D15S. Ambient temps for me are usually about 18-20C. Other than that you might want to check thermal paste. I made sure I had enough by using 5 dots. Idle is a bit high but that load temperature is more than acceptable compared to my 5800x. Was at 45.
